When it was erected, no one assumed that over time beach life would evolve in this part of the island. The length of Bangla Road is only 450 m, small streets and alleys called “soi” depart from it. Together, they make up an impressive pedestrian zone, full of clubs, bars with live music, cheap beer, brothels and massage parlors. Barkers actively invite to institutions, promising unprecedented hitherto pleasures.
