Chang Island is a popular tourist resort located in the Southeast of Thailand. It is washed by the waters of the Gulf of Thailand and formally belongs to the province of Trat, like the other 50 islands of the archipelago, with which it is one.
Translated from Thai, “chang” means “elephant”. If you look at the island from above, its outlines resemble this majestic animal.
Unlike Phuket or Samui, the tourist infrastructure here is poorly developed, the entire archipelago is declared a reserve, therefore, development is carried out extremely carefully.
